Hello and welcome! I’m a former physics and ICT teacher, originally from the UK, who traded equations for adventure back in 2002. My journey started in the beautiful Seychelles and then took me to Hong Kong, where I eventually retired in 2016. Now, I’ve found a new home in the vibrant metropolis of Bangkok.
My passion lies in photography, particularly capturing the beauty of hidden urban landscapes and the tranquility of rural settings. This blog is a space where I share my experiences and insights as an amateur photographer. You’ll find discussions on simple photography techniques, practical hints and tips I’ve picked up along the way, and details for discovering less-travelled paths.
Join me as I capture the essence of Bangkok, Hong Kong, and elsewhere through my lens, uncovering unique stories and perspectives, one photograph at a time.
